Participation of prof. Andrzej M.J. Skulimowski - the President of the Foundation, in the “6th conference FTA2018 – Future oriented- technology analysis 2018 – “Future in the making”, 4-5 June 2018, Brussels, Belgium

The purpose of the Joint Research Center (JRC) conference FTA2018 - Future in the making was exploring new challenges of policymaking and future-oriented frames and methods to respond to them. FTA2018 is one of the world's foresight events organized every 3 or 4 years by the Directorate General of the JRC of the European Commission.

In the FTA2018 conference two speeches were given by Polish participants, representing institutions from Poland and concerning research projects implemented in Poland, including the MOVING project http://moving-project.eu, implemented within Horizon 2020 framework program. The speech of prof. Andrzej M.J. Skulmowski titled "Strategy building for a knowledge repository with a new expert information fusion tool" was given in the session C2 "Horizon Scanning & Beyond".

The conference was attended by experts in the field of forecasting, technology and policy evaluation as well as strategic planning
