Leonardo da Vinci Reference Material "ICT and SME - The observation, sur¬veying and analysis of the dynamics of practice in the use of ICT as a tool for learning in vocational education and training and SMEs

Implementation period: 2002 - 2006

A Leonardo Da Vinci Reference Material project, providing expertise to the European Commission on the state-of-art and future perspectives of implementing information and communication technologies in SMEs in 7 European countries

The aim of the project was to investigate the use of ICT based learning for vocational training and learning in SMEs in Europe. Objectives : to identify barriers to the potential use of e-learning for training in SMEs, to identify critical factors in the use of ICT for training in SMEs, to provide data for the development of models for the use of ICT for training in SMEs, to provide data to assist in analysis and policy formation for use of ICT based training in SMEs
