Motivation development, consulting, training and financial support to the innovative start-ups founded by 50+ entrepreneurs

Implementation period: 2005-2006

PHARE 2003 Programme, Budget line: PL2003/004-379/05.01-03-02, within the Human Resources Development Strand. Contracting organisation in Poland: Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP). The aim of the project was to identify and support a group of people after the age of 50 living or working in the Southern Poland, most predisposed to undertake an economic activity within their own company, especially those with higher education having. This was achieved through a comprehensive program of promotional activities, counseling and training. For final beneficiaries (10 persons)selected through a competition provided a partial refund of expenses (up to 50% of eligible costs excluding social security (which was admissible refund 100% of the premiums) associated with running a business incurred in the first six months.
